The starter generator shop team has over 15 years experience The facility has all the required modern equipment and tooling to cover all the overhaul tasks. This include lathe machines, Growlers, High pressure cleaning equipment, Insulation testers, oven, armature balancing machine, test benches, starter mode testing rig, oscilloscope and a power supply unit.
The company also holds a wide variety of starter adapters to adapt different starter types to the test benches. By the time the starter is released to service a full bench check has been carried out and output figures recorded.

Realizing the importance of reduced downtime and subject to availability, the company can make arrangements for loaner starter generators and propellers if and when there is a need to keep the aircraft flying during the overhaul period.
